Day 1 - Arrival in Joshimath
Your adventure begins as you arrive at Joshimath, a charming town nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas. It’s an excellent base to explore the ski slopes of Auli and the surrounding regions. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and rest. In the afternoon, explore Joshimath’s picturesque streets, visit the famous Narsingh Temple, and take a leisurely walk through the town, soaking in the serene vibes of this spiritual town. The evening can be spent enjoying local cuisine at your hotel. Overnight stay in Joshimath.
Day 2 - Joshimath to Auli Skiing
Post breakfast, transfer to Auli, one of India’s premier skiing destinations. Auli, with its breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and vast ski slopes, is a paradise for adventure enthusiasts. Upon arrival, check into your resort or guesthouse in Auli. After a brief rest, you will be introduced to the skiing area. Begin your skiing experience with an instructor who will guide you through the basics of skiing on Auli’s pristine slopes. You will have ample time to practice your skills throughout the day, with breaks to enjoy the snow-covered landscapes and the stunning views of the Nanda Devi and other surrounding peaks. Day 3 - Skiing and Adventure Activities in Auli
Day 3 is dedicated to more skiing and adventure activities in Auli. Start your day early with a hearty breakfast, then head to the slopes for another round of skiing. You will be able to improve your technique and confidence on the slopes, with your instructor offering tips and guidance. In addition to skiing, there are other activities to enjoy in Auli, such as snowboarding, snowshoeing, and tobogganing. The region is also famous for its breathtaking cable car ride, which offers panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks. Enjoy a break for lunch at a local café in Auli before continuing your activities. Day 4 - Auli to Joshimath and Drive to Haridwar
After an adventurous few days in Auli, it’s time to head back to Joshimath. After breakfast, descend from Auli and make your way back to Joshimath. On your return, you can take a moment to visit the nearby temples or just enjoy the peace of the town. Afterward, continue your journey to Haridwar, a significant pilgrimage city on the banks of the Ganges. The drive will take around 8-9 hours, so enjoy the scenic views along the way. Upon arrival in Haridwar, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, head to Har Ki Pauri to witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti, a spiritual experience that will surely leave you in awe. Day 5 - Explore Haridwar and Departure
On the final day of your tour, take time to explore the spiritual city of Haridwar.
