Day 1 - Arrival in Amritsar
Arrive in Amritsar, where our representative will greet you and take you to your hotel. After a bit of rest, head out to visit the Wagah Border and experience the lively Indo-Pak evening parade ceremony. Return to the hotel in the evening to enjoy a delicious dinner, followed by an overnight stay.
Day 2 - Amritsar to Dalhousie
After breakfast, begin your local sightseeing tour of Amritsar with a visit to the sacred Golden Temple. Next, see the Durgiana Temple, known for its architecture resembling the Golden Temple. Afterwards, pay tribute to the martyrs at Jallianwala Bagh. Take some time to explore Hall Bazaar, where you can shop for authentic Punjabi handicrafts and artifacts. In the evening, depart for Dalhousie and, upon arrival, enjoy a delicious dinner. Stay overnight at a hotel in Dalhousie.
Day 3 - Excursion to Khajjiar
After breakfast, we will head to Khajjiar, often called the Mini Switzerland of India. On our way, we’ll stop at Kalatop, a beautiful untouched forest with amazing views. Experience the Swiss atmosphere in Khajjiar, which is also acknowledged by the Swiss government. Next, we’ll visit Chamba, a hill town famous for its stunning natural beauty, including lush meadows, lakes, and streams. After a full day of exploring, we’ll return to Dalhousie for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4 - Dalhousie to Dharamshala
After a hearty breakfast, check out of the hotel and begin your journey to Dharamshala, also known as ‘Little Lhasa.’ Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and then start your sightseeing. Visit the Bhagsunag Temple, one of the oldest temples in the area, located next to the beautiful Bhagsunag waterfall. Next, enjoy some quiet time in Naddi village, a lovely spot nestled in the peaceful Himalayan surroundings. Explore Tibetan culture by visiting local monasteries and the Tibetan market. After a day filled with activities, enjoy dinner and then stay overnight at your hotel in Dharamshala.
Day 5 - Dharamshala Local Sightseeing
After a lovely breakfast this morning, begin your tour by visiting the Brajeshwari Temple and Chamunda Devi Temple in Kangra. Afterwards, drive back to Dharamshala and enjoy a delicious dinner. Stay overnight at your hotel in Dharamshala.
Day 6 - Departure
After a tasty breakfast, pack your bags and cherish the wonderful memories from the mountains. Check out of the hotel and begin your journey back to Amritsar.
